Founder - Owner
Russell has owned dogs all his life and has a passion for working with them. In his lifetime he has rescued 3 dogs, the latest ones being Zara and Zane, Zara being the company namesake. While not walking dogs he participates in various fund raising efforts to support local animal shelters here in Chicago. He wants to make sure that every homeless dog is adopted into a loving home. His background is in management in the furniture industry and now today solely works with his furry friends.
John
John has owned dogs going back to his childhood and understands the issues of rescued dogs. His first rescued dog was Emily and along with Russell there was Sugar and now Zara. For the past 20 years John has worked for 2 major airlines as a flight attendant, trainer and manager. When he is not flying he works with Russell at Walks with Zara.
Zara was adopted from ARFhouse, a local animal refuge foundation. She is a tan and white Pit Bull mix who loves nothing better then spending her days at the dog park and her evenings curled up on the couch.
